Default tanabe gf vs tanabe df

I am looking for opinions from people that ACTUALLY HAVE THESE INSTALLED AND HAVE BEEN DRIVING ON THEM. I have heard nothing but good things about Tanabe's and that the GF's offer a little better performance but less of a drop and the DF's sit the car lower. From the tanabe webste if looks like the GF's are a performance spring and the DF's are more comfortable... is this true on not? Since there is already a bunch of info out there about the GF's I would like a little more about the DF's. How comfortable are they, how low does the car ride now, do you have rubbing issues. Pictures are welcome. Thanks. (I know there is a Scoobs and Springs thread, but it doesn't provide all the information I am looking for.)

I haven't driven on both but I currently have the GF's on my WRX with KYB AGX's. The springs match the struts well if you have the KYB's cranked all the way up. It's not bad for being a performance oriented spring. Rides a TON better than my buddy on Tein S Techs.

Yeah, the df210 has significantly more drop than the gf's. They drop 2.0" front and 1.5" rear, versus 1.5" front and 1.0" rear for the gf210's. They are also less stiff, between 15-20% stiffer than stock. The gf210's are about 30% stiffer than stock. I just picked up the gf210's and haven't installed them yet, but i've ridden in a car with the gf210's and didn't find it uncomfortably stiff. I personally think the gf's afford a nice drop, since I'm not really into that "slammed" stance.

i have the df's on my 05' sti. made the car look a lot better but the ride feels exactly the same as stock and did nothing for handling.
