![]() This came out of a 97 JDM GC8 WRX with an EJ20 turbo (of course).
It includes the connector and a small portion (about 6") of the JDM wiring harness. This will allow you a relatively easy splice-in to a USDM wiring harness. The sensors from the JDM to the USDM put out the same (or very similar) signals. I will answer any questions you have to the best of my knowledge but you will have to do much of your own research to answer your questions. I am unsure of the injector sizes that JDM WRX's ran but I do know the JDM STi's ran 460 cc injectors. That's a bit of research you'd need to do to make this more plug and play. The other thing would be a boost solenoid of which is the same from JDM to USDM WRX's. Anybody with more direct knowledge on the JDM WRX electronics please feel free to chime in and help those wanting to know more. If I were to eBay this I would ask around $300 shipped. Make some reasonable offers and keep in mind that this will be the turbo conversion direct fit engine management you are looking for that requires minimal tweaking to get to work. ![]() Taking offers.
Remember, many things get inflated for eBay so feel free to send me some offers and we'll see what we can work out. I really don't want to put this on eBay. |

The NA compression ratio is much higher than the turbo compression ratio that is true. That would be an obstacle to overcome. I overlooked the 550cc injectors included with that kit. You'd need more appropriately sized injectors. When I bought the ECU the ad only stated WRX w/EJ20G engine. It didn't say sedan, wagon, coupe, etc but it did state TD04 so I figure that's the most important part. Does anybody know if you can use the OBDII interface once the ECU is wired in to reflash the ECU? I know there are chips available for this ECU. |
