Default small oil leak

Hey folks, I was at my mechanic's the other day for my 48k km service/inspections, turns out I've developed an oil leak recently... 2 in fact.

One I'm not so concerned with, it's the passenger side solenoid for the AVLS. It's not near anything and if it drips or seeps, it's on the backside and will drip away from anything hot.

The other leak, well it's actively weeping when the car runs. It's on the driver's side, right under the oil filler neck, apparently it's the switch/sensor for the driverside AVLS. I definitely didn't notice oil burning smell the week before the inspection, so it developed recently and periodically smells like burning oil for a few seconds.

My car is scheduled to go in for inspection at a trusted dealer to confirm these 2 leaks and see if they are covered under warranty, if not it's back to my mechanic to git r done.

My question is, with the amount of oil that's weeping from this switch/sensor, am I safe to drive the car for 800-ish kms this weekend, and possibly 1 or 2 high rpm runs? How much oil pressure goes through this switch, if running into the range ALVS activates creates enough pressure, will this switch leak more?

I'd say your fine driving the 800km if you keep an eye on the oil level, but I would not push it.
