I bought a set of Hawk brake pads from them that were junk right out of the box and after trying to use them for less than a day, I attempted to return them where I just purchased them at HTMotorsports. They did everything that they possibly could to "point the finger" at Hawk and not stand behind the product that they sold me just days before. They also tried to tell me that those pads are supposed to be that way even after breaking them in (which I did exactly according to Hawk's directions on box). I know they were just making excuses but just to prove it, I ended up buying the same exact Hawk brake pads from RallySportsDirect and they worked perfectly upon install (with break in), as they should. Do your selves a favor and do not attempt to save a couple bucks by going to HTMotorsports because it will cost you in the end.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience but there's a few things going on here that I can point out right off the bat.

1. We can not take back used brake pads. No vendor does this. Find me one that does.
2. Our website states that the warranty on any item is through the manufacture. You could have easily contacted Hawk to have them resolve the issue for you.
3. We have yet to have had any return on a defective brake pad set from any brake manufacture. Wrong sizing? Sure... but thats not the case here.
4. There are a lot of variables when it comes to proper installation of a brake pad. We can not just swap out brake pads based on "hear-say."

So as you can see, you had an option or outlet on what to do with your situation and furthermore, your expectations are a bit not entirely within normal business practices.

BUT!......

I can definitely notate on your next order that it should be at cost if you PM me your information (so I can pull up the previous order). I think this is a more than fair offer considering this is not limited to any specific item and you can certainly offset the cost you lost on your next purchase easily, depending on the item.

Again... sorry for what you had to go through but I'd like everyone to know how things work at THMotorsports.

How did you know they were "junk right out of the box", and why did you even try to use them if they were junk?

Without explaining what the issue with the pads was, I don't know how you expect us to think it was TH Motorsports' fault that there was something wrong with them. Every set of Hawk pads I've purchased has come with the pads wrapped with a plastic strap and then wrapped in clear plastic, and then of course the box is sealed, too. Was there some indication that TH Motorsports had opened up the pads and ruined them before shipping them to you?

I've never had an issue with TH Motorsports, and their response above is more than fair IMO.

I just want to throw in a good word for Nick and the guys at THMotorsports. I ordered and ACT clutch kit from them through ebay. It was listed as new. It was around 30% cheaper than retail. The day before it came in I got an email from Nick saying his guys made a mistake on the listing and it was actually an opened box/return item and he would understand if I had a problem with it and work with me.
So it comes in and I check it out and it's obviously not new, but is in pretty good shape all considered. I talked with Nick about it and he offered full refund they pay shipping and everything or some more parts at cost, my choice. I'm planning on keeping the clutch and getting a flywheel, shifter, and others in the near future so I plan on taking him up on the second offer. He just said email him part numbers when I'm ready and he'll set it up.

All in all good guys, made good on a flub on their part, quick response, and helpful/understanding! I plan on updating this once I get the other parts and get them on the car.

Thmotorsports gave me a great deal on a GS EBCS and DW65c. It was far the lowest price around and everything shipped quickly. I would certainly do business with them in the future.

I purchased some ARP extended studs and 8mm Work spacers on 7/22/13. I then immediately called to confirm the stock status of the items being that I needed them by the following Friday (7/26/13). They happily told me, "Sure! You'll have them in no time! We will have them shipped and immediately send you a tracking address of both products." I got my products ordered, they got my money, we were both happy.

Two days had passed and I received a tracking address for the ARP studs only. So, I call them and speak to a gentleman and tell him what has happened, the time frame I'm workin with, etc. Without any delay he tells me that I will have my stuff shortly without searching for my order or anything. I calmly ask if he could search for my order specifically because I had been guaranteed my products and I wanted to be sure I would have them. The guy then sighs and tells me to hold on. This is where he starts to test my patience. After searching, he tells me that my studs were on back order. I then asked why I recieved an email with a tracking address. He follows up with, "I don't know." I then ask what is going on with my spacers and he tells me they are coming from Work Japan and will be about a week and a half... Ok. That's fine. But I ask them why they didn't inform me of this immediately after the purchase so I could have ordered something comparable. He follows up with a snide remark informing me that work wheels is located in Japan. I tell him, "I'm aware, thanks and have a nice day." A few days go by, I get my studs, cool. I borrow a spacer from a friend in the meantime.

Just two days ago (8-5-13) I recieved an email telling me my spacers had been discontinued... COOL. I call them to ask why this message couldn't have been relayed... I don't know... The day of the purchase? It only takes one phone call to the distributor. They tell me they're sorry my money should be on its way to my account. During this whole process they did not once call me back after I had asked, they did not email or call me to keep me informed the status of my products, nothing. And in the end, I received half of my order with only an automated email to tell me my stuff was no longer available.

Follow up from my previous comment: it's nice to know that some do legitimately care about the way their business is viewed. Jonathan at THMotorsports was kind enough to get in contact with me to get the low down on what happened and how it maybe could have been avoided. Don't let my bad experience draw you away from this business but I would advise to call and check stock before placing an order. I've had more good experiences than just this one bad, and I'm sure Jonathan here would love to help anyone out with finding what they need for their Subaru.

Last week I ordered an AP through Dewey at THM and he was helpful and confirmed the part I needed for my 2002 WRX and said I should have it around 20th-21st. My AP arrived early on Monday (18th) to which I was exstatic to have but only to find it was the wrong model AP. So I called into customer service and got someone who promised they'd look into it and that i'd have an email within the hour with an update on the situation.

Sadly I never got an email, so I called Dewey back on Tuesday (19th) and he agreed they sent out a 002 and it should have been an 001 and that he'd get me to customer service so that they can ship out a 001 with a calltag for me to return the 002. The customer service guy who did not give me his information stated that i'd get an email by 5 PM (with the calltag and tracking info for the 001) that day as their email system only sends messages every other hour. I accepted this on good faith after working with Dewey and seeing that he was really trying to keep my business.

So here we are on Thursday the 21st and I still have no emails of any kind from anyone, no call backs, and a Cobb Accessport that I can not use.

Second time ordering from them and sad to say that I should have learned my lesson the first time. It seems like they do not have parts in stock. First time i ordered a sway bar and it took a month for them to get it to me. Now I ordered a set of energy suspension bushings and get an email 2 days later saying they do not have the item in stock and it will take 7 to 10 business days to fulfill my order, then shipped from the manufacturer. I am not going to wait and requested that they cancel my order. Beware when dealing with this company.. they seem to be selling parts they do not even have in stock nor conveniently available. If someone from THM sees this, please cancel my order ASAP and fix the way you handle your inventory.

Hey guys,

I'll be the first one to tell you that our website is not only outdated but can be pretty inaccurate at times. I'm actually the first Subaru specific person to work here and up until a year ago Subarus we're kind of an after thought. We are working on getting the website up to snuff though. In the meantime your best bet with ANY order is to just PM or call me direct. I normally can save you money off the site on top of making sure it's in stock and give you a better idea when you will see it.

I'm about to PM you aziankingsz and see if there is anything I can do to make it up to you.

Thanks guys and thanks for all the support. I know THM is new to Subarus but I'm not by a LONG shot and I really appreciate all the support you have given is/me so far and I plan on supporting the community as long I'm welcome

Hi Jonathan / Dewey,

My name is Chuck from Taiwan. I'm getting frustrated here. 5 days ago, Michael (Return Department) offered me via email a discounted price for a replacement wheel, and I replied and agreed at the same day. Since then, I have not heard from him.

I'd appreciate if you could reach Michael regarding my issue. Also, I mentioned to Michael that I think I deserve a good explanation from Enkei USA on why one of the wheels I received was in a oval shape.
