Default Problems starting PLEASE HELP

Ok so heres my story. Originally i was installing IM spacers and realized that the small oil leak i thought i had was actually a seeping head gasket. So i replaced the gasket with a whole ebay gasket kit. I also installed delta cam 1000 grinds. Had the heads milled to make sure no warpage. I put it all back together and all was good. The oil leak was still there so the motor came back out and i replaced the rear main seal and oil pan gasket. While doing this i dropped the thermostat in a tub of used oil and coolant and such. I was in a rush so i wased it off and said it would be fine. Again all was well. No more leak and the thing ran like a beast. ( i also have a custom gans flo style intake and a cherry bomb turbo 2 rear muffler.)

It started throwing a code so i had auto zone read it and it came up as o2 sensor. I was glad it wasnt ne thing really serious and i was broke so i didnt replace it just yet.

While i was running a TSD rally the thermostat started acting up and i over heated 3 times. Each time i stopped let it cool down and then started it again and it ran fine. After the third time it didnt happen again. I drove it for about 2 more weeks and the head gasket blew on my way out of detroit. Oil was everywhere. top of engine bottom of engine headers trans.

So again i pulled it and decided to do it right. I had the heads re milled by the same shop. They made sure not to take much off. I bought OEM head gasket. Put in a new water pump, timing belt (i just rolled 70k) and replaced all of the timing belt idlers and thermostat. Made sure everything was torqued just right and put it all back together.

On first start it stumbled so i tried again and after turning over about 5 times it started. (yes i primed the fuel pump) I drove it about 20 miles to take my friend home and stopped by a party. I was still throwing a CEL and when i came out from the party it had to crank it for like a minute to get it to start. (the car was still warm, i was only in the party for like 20 min)

While driving everything seemed good.

I drove home and left it over night. the next morning i came out to start it and it started after turning over 3-5 times (before all of this it would start after turning over 2-3 times max) I drove it to school was there for 8 hours came out and it started again after 3-5 turn overs. I drove to auto zone had them check the code again and it was 02 sensor. I tired to start my car to leave and it wouldnt start just kept cranking for like 5 min. I waited about 15 min and tried again and after a bunch more cranking and pressing the throttle it started.

The next day it started and i drove to macys. Came out 10 min later (picked up pants) and it wouldnt start for like 10 min.

So the pattern that im seeing is it wont start when its hott.

I bought an oem o2 sensor and replaced that and it still does the same thing.

Threw a new code so i went to auto zone and it was throwing p0336 and p0341 which are cam and crank position sensor out of range codes.

Some people had said these get thrown by excessivly cranking the engine which i have done.

I am running out of ideas.

It runs fine when started the only differences i have noticed is intermittantly while decelerating if you listen closely it gets a bit poppy.

and i think it is idleing maybe just a tiny bit lower then usual.

Other then that is is just like it always was.

Please i really need help. I know there is alot of info here and i appreciate any input.

I daresay that it could be a coolant temperature sensor, but I'm not sure. You should check the timing on it to see if everything is still lined up right.

When I swapped heads 2 years ago, I didn't put the crank sensor plug on perfectly and it bent a pin, making intermittent contact. The car seemed like it didn't like starting when warmed up either, but soon that didn't matter. Go over all your electrical connections and make sure that they're perfect.

Last time i put the motor in i forgot to plug in the coolant temp sensor. It started just fine but wouldnt take load untill the ECU learned around it. Then i just plugged it in and all was fine.
