Anyone have a volt vs flow chart for the hydramist turbine sensor?
As stated in the post title. I've been talking to Richard @ aquamist but was wondering if any of you have one.
Thanks Alex

This is mine:
This test was done using the aquamist hsv, varying duty cycle at a fixed 50hz. Keep in mind your results will vary depending on your particular sensor calibration, as well as a number of other factors. Remember, a pulsed output will read higher than steady flow, so keep that in mind. The best thing for you to do would be to perform your own tests. |

It's because:
This is why 80% duty cycle actually reads higher than 100%. There is a reason why Richard does not have a graph like this; every circumstance will vary. |

Also keep in mind when running higher duty cycles in your PWM map (which equals higher voltage from the sensor) it's because your boost is also higher. Since the system runs a constant pressure, flow will actually be lower since manifold pressure works against it. This means the slight rise at the end may actually result in a more linear flow in the real world.
If you have an NA car forget what I said. LOL! |
