Default Mother's Day 2017

With Mother's Day approaching, do any of you have any clever ideas for gifts this year for your wives and/or mothers?

Doing anything special besides the express train to Pleasuretown?

I find these the most tactful gifts to leave on her grave. Everyone knows I'm the most tactful OTter.

Hug your moms, OT.

Perhaps a nice seafood dinner, with a low possibility of a return phone call?

speaking of my wife... it's her first mother's day... I have no idea what to do.

halp

she's not a sentimental person, but I have a feeling that she would enjoy some sort of commemoration for her first mother's day that involved our daughter.

We will both be traveling (together with the baby) and at a friend's house for the weekend

I think someone made a video about Mother's Day, look it up. It had the perfect gift.

Ditch baby with friend, eat in candlelit silence. And then maybe whatever you can squeeze in the back seat of your Uber home.*

(Try not to have more kid)*

If you weren't travelling, I'd suggest you take the kid and give her a day pass to the local spa.

Although, you could still do that...just give her a certificate she can use the next weekend.

Send her to the spa and while she is gone make some homemade art with hand and/or footprints on a nice framed canvas.

I think I'm going to do the same for my mom this year. Nothing screams mommy issues like giving her framed art work of her 35 year old sons' hand and footprints

I'm in the same boat. Gonna be leaning heavily on Google for suggestions.

I'm not sure OT will give me the same trust fall support.

Does she wear jewelry? Like, at all?
Get her one of the necklaces that commemorates you all. They have many different styles. Up until the point when ****head who robbed us took it, that was my wife's favorite necklace.

YMMV

Hug your moms, OT.
I wish I lived close enough to leave something on my mom's grave If I could, it would be some flowers, a bag of m&ms and a joint (partially smoked of course ).

To make things worse I still have to buy something for my son to give to his mother

yeah, I was thinking jewelry that is somehow connected but all that **** is so bad

and yes on the spa thing. I was planning on getting her a gc for a massage and also going to get her a case of rosé... because she's obsessed with rosé.
