Default How to paint a lip onto a rim?

I've done some searching for a procedure but haven't really found anything. If anyone knows of a thread involving this, then please post it.

I'm going to be painting my XT rims and I'd like to have a go at painting the lip a different color than the rest of the wheel.

-what is the easiest tape to use?
-what should the sequence for the painting be?

Thanks, in advance.

Usually you prep the rim....then spray the lip or pin stripe area with whatever color your using.

Tape off the lip, spray the rest of the rim....remove tape/ theres ur colored lip...then proceed to clear.
