Default un-even tire wear question

This might be better for the newbie section. I have one tire that apparently has a different wear pattern than the other three. I am getting a lovely thumping sound while driving.

Potenza RE070 tires

About 6 months ago, the tire was losing pressure. I drove and filled it each day for about a week until i could get it in for service. I think that week's driving affected the wear.

Is there an inexpensive way to get all four tires even? I would love to eliminate this annoying issue without buying all new tires. I have rotated once since then - no change other than location of the annoyance.

You could buy one new tire and have it shaved to match the tread depth of the other 3 tires

sounds like you may have overheated the tire and caused internal damage. Also how was the tire repaired? Gas station plug or taken off the wheel and repaired properly? You may have a seperation starting due to a cheap repair.

Cheapest solution is going to be finding one used tire that matches, since this is a pretty popular tire you might get lucky.

Good luck
