Default AP V2 not able to change maps... AGAIN

So here's my dilemma... I had this happen once before so I talked to cobb and they had me send in my AP v2 in and they did stuff and sent it back.
Well my problem is this. First of all I have an 06 STI with TBE and I'm on stage 2 91 octane. I installed this map and then I went to change the map to a 93 octane. Well it says that the ap is not installed on this car. But I go look at the realtime map and it says Stage 2 91 octane. I can read boost and MPG's and all the other stuff through my accessport. So I go to uninstall it from my ecu and it says the same screen that says this accessport is not installed. So wut should I do?

First lets check what the AP thinks it's married to. Go to the "About" screen or "AccessPORT -> About" then what does it say under State, Vehicle, and also the firmware.

Cheers

This problem happens in very rare instances but stems from writing over a previous installtion with the exact same map. This confuses the AccessPORT and makes it think it is not married. We have very rarely encounted this bug. Unfortunately this means that the AccessPORT needs to come back to COBB Tuning to be reprogrammed, again. What we are doing is basically unmarrying the AP from your car so you can once again reinstall it. Then you will need to flash over the previous install with a completely different map, like a Stage4 104 Octane map. Then you can flash on whatever map is appropriate for your car.

Please call COBB Tuning customer service at 801-713-0035 for details. They have been alerted to your situation and are awaiting your call.

I've had them unmarry it last time... And now it's doing the same exact thing... If I disconnect my battery and reset the ecu do u think that could work?

I've already looked at that and it's "married" to my car.

Can you uninstall the AccessPORT from your car or is the unit completely locked? Please call our customer support line. We might be able to recover the AccessPORT remotely. Call 801-713-0035 10AM-6PM MST Monday-Friday.
