Default FS Project Car 2002 WRX/STi needs engine

I bought the car new in 2001, and the title is clear with no liens. The vehicle has been in no major collisions, but did hit the tire wall at low speed at the local track. This necessitated replacing the front passenger fender and repairing the front door. I decided to repaint the entire car at that time, but the repaint had issues due to low temps in the spray booth. As a result, the paint is more brittle than it should be. There are some rust bubbles around the rear fender lips where the painter missed primer

I never wanted to sell this car, planned on keeping it forever. But there is no work in my part of the patch, and I need the money.

I am attaching some photos, and I can take more if you have something specific you want to see.

I damaged the engine when the boost wastegate hose popped off under boost and it hit 30+ psi instead of the 16psi wastegate boost it had been tuned to for breakin. Tune was by Airboy, but the failure was strictly mine as I should have upgraded the boost hose. The engine, turbo, FMIC are NOT included.

As it sits, this is what would be included;

Driveline

- Full ver8 JDM specC driveline : axles, hubs, brembo's, R180 diff, 6 speed (new front axle seals)
- Kartboy short shifter
- TIC shift linkage bushings

Suspension

- Whiteline ALK/w sport bushings
- Whiteline swaybars front and rear (adjustable)
- Group N topmounts
- JDM pink springs
- Koni yellow strut inserts
- Rear camber bolts

Interior/Exterior

- Defi BF gauges Imperial - EGT, Oil press, Boost
- Apexi AVCR boost controller
- TurboXS Knock Lite - mounted in center cluster
- STi Titanium shift knob
- Acura RDX antenna mast
- Prodrive GC-06 17"x8" wheels in "British Black" no curb rash
- Yokohama Advan Sport 245/40/17 85% left or better - no irregular wear
- Morrette projector headlamps - HID kit included but wiring needs to be re-freshed. Includes two new Bosch relays.

Pictured, but not included is the FMIC and exhaust for the UR rotated turbo system.

I'm asking $11k (Canadian) which I think is a good price given the value of the parts in the car. If you're looking for a project platform, its a great low cost entry point.

If you end up parting out... I need a 6speed swap, or I could send you my 02 wrx 5speed and associated parts. The tranny is being rebuilt now.

Produce receipts in your name with credit card charges to your name. Oh, and throw in receipts for child support to your ex for the last twelve months too.

Post them here on-line if you've got any sack.

No? Then GFO.

Travis Charland (asaweld) thinks that because I have parts on my car (Gauges and hood struts) from his ex's STi, that he is entitled to troll me around the internet and disrupt my every move.

So for the record, the parts came from a car titled to her, with the payments made by her, and the parts were purchased with her CC, and he's just doing what abusive stalker ex's do.

If he had any proof to support his claim, he would have called the cops.

And the comment about the child support came from my frustration that he is a deadbeat dad, and I'm the one picking up the tab.

This would have never come up in a car related forum except that he opened the door and implied I'm a thief. My apoligies to members for this junk showing up in my post.

If Travis has more to say, he can say it through the lawyer to his ex's lawyer.

No? Then GFO.

i have reciepts until the day i went into the hospital, with my lawyer. and for the record, I am trying to get back to work so you can have my damn child support payments. It takes quite a bit of effort to get back from a brain injury, fractured skull, and a cc fistula..
I also lend her my jeep 4 weeks ago or so and you drive it and something goes missing, i ask for it back and I get threatened? wtf?

and all the weight i lost in the hospital, i think he must've stole some, lmfao

Less than a week before you had your accident, you tried running her off the road (with your son in her car; nice).

And one day after you came out of your coma, you were back to sending harrasing txts to me.

Arguing on the interweb is like the special olympics, even the winner is retarded. So, bring this up to my face, or in court.
