Default is an all aluminum radiator better?

I will be replacing my second radiator within a year on my 2002 wrx. the first one cracked on the top plastic piece and was not repairable. I just had some stuff done to fix the a/c and they say there is a crack in this radiator too. I want to find something that may be a little more reliable if possible. will an aluminum radiator be better for me. i have a stock 2.0l w/vf39 running e85. any input will be greatly appreciated. suggestions?

Seems only arm burns when touching the bare aluminum and marginally higher maintance (link for tech. article, I don't know this business):
http://www.radiator.com/articles/alumrads.html .

This link and 2 others I found said larger diameter tubes are best for surface area heat.
1 1/2" aluminum tubes.

I'm doing some planning too (although still on first rad. still).

There is another thread with info in it regarding the plastic radiator in this very sub forum, around 10 headings down. A little searching goes a long way.

P.S. That thread is HERE.

I did a LOT of research when my OEM plastic radiator bit the dust. I ended up settling on a GMS (Gimmick Motorsports) All aluminum radiator. Everything on this radiator is top notch, fit & finish in the car is excellent as well. Plus, it's only like 50 bucks more than an oem replacement or something. Totally worth it...
