There are a couple of different options in the Bay Area for tuning. Do you already have some type of Engine Management? If so, which kind do you have? If not, which one do you want to run (and what kind of budget)?

EQ Tuning

http://www.eqtuning.com/ - Ed

GST Motorsports
http://www.gstmotorsports.com/home/ - Mike

http://www.autoheadquarter.com/ - Shiggy (ECUTek Tune - I believe it is about $1400 for this type of tune, but it is because he does Road & Dyno Tune for something like 7-8 hours or more)

http://finelineimports.net/index.php...d=12&chapter=2 - FLI

DB Tuned

I think that lists most of the normal shops people recommend.

http://www.vishnutuning.com/main.htm - This shop used to be well liked, but they pretty much turned their back on the Subaru community a long time ago. I do believe they can still do tuning there if you are interested, but I would probably go to one of the ones listed above.

There may be other shops in the area that can tune as well (like Non-Subaru specific shops), but for those types of shops I would probably just avoid them and shop at a place that specifically works on Subaru's.

I personally see a lot of people recommend both Ed & Mike so I think it comes down to preference.

BTW - If you are not already signed up, definitely check out i-Club as it is a LOT more active in the Bay Area forum
( http://www.i-club.com/forums/ ).
