Default 05 sti to rs swap

Iv got a complete sti setup sitting in storage and i have a blown 04 wrx. Iv been blowing all my money on this car for a long time now but my problem is the wrx is on a salvage title and its gonna be a pain in the ass to get a clean title after swaping the motor with the weak bill of sale i have. Im thinking to sell the rex and buy an rs and just swap everything into it. I have a few questions. Does everything swap fairly easy without alot of fabrication and my tuner charging me out the ass to do this, can i swap a newer dash and center console into the car, and finally i already have a hyrda system for the 04 wrx could i use it and if not what do i do in the case of an 05 motor going in an older rs thanks

do not swap your sti stuff in to ANY salvege title car unless you plan on keeping it forever! youre never going to get your money back on a swap anyways let alone with a bad title car.

If you want to do the swap then do it. But there will be alot of hard work. Salvaged cars are not the best routes to go with but some people have a budget to work on and thats what they have to do. Its really all up to how much you want it and how much you want to spend to have it. Most people that do the swaps from what i have seen are planning to have the car a long time.

Sounds like you my be able to help me out with a question:

What is the difference in a 2004 GD7 code Vin and a 2005 -2007 GD7 Vin code car? Is the 2004 STI engine any different than a 2005 -2007 STI engine?
