Default Question about 06-07 STi headlights vs 06-07 WRX headlights

my car just recently been in accident, some guy backed up on my car, damaging the driver side fender, headlights and front bumper

my headlight is still in working condition its basicly brand new, the only problem is the lens is chipped, the 2 of the holding brackets are broken cracking the headlight

i dont really want to purchase a new one, since they are really expensive,

i was wondering, if i could transfer all the parts of the 06-07 STi parts ( HID components, and the light leveler ) to the 06 - 07 WRX headlight case

thanks for looking

- Sean

^^ actually no you can't unless you swap the projector lenses too.

The wrx housing has a halogen projector in it while the STi housing has an HID one. The halogen lens will reflect the light way differently than the HID and you'll get nasty glare from your HIDs with no crisp cutoff.

Other than the lens and HID components, the housings are identical.

What is the best way to upgrade my headlights to that of an STi? I have an 06 WRX and want a headlight upgrade, I do a lot of driving in snow storms.

07 and 06 Headlights are different colors as well.

Just like the tail lights, the 06 has a smoke/grey inside and the 07 is bright chrome.
