Default Max Tire Size

Hi, I was wondering what the max tire size that would ok for stock 2006 Sti wheels. Will 235/45/17 rub? Or should I just stick with 225? Currently I have 245's. Thanks Guys

245/40/17 would be fine but it's slightly shorter ratio. If your suspension is stock, I'd probably go with 235/45/17 which is a fair bit taller. Slightly more narrow, yes, but 0.6" taller than 245/40/17. The gearing on the STi is too short already.
