Default Extreme tire whine

My right front tire (stock Dunlops, 08 STI) seems to enjoy whining very loudly when reaching speeds of about 40-65 mph. I thought it was normal (I'm new to STI ownership), but now I'm sure its not a common behaviour.

Should I head to the dealership and ask them to check the tire / alignment? Car is not pulling either way, rock solid other than the noise.

How many miles? Dunlops are notorious for tire noise and the ones on my 08 are sounding like truck tires at 11,500 miles. I'll definitely be putting something else on, shortly.

A "whine" might be a wheel bearing. I would rotate the tire and see if the noise stays on the same corner or moves to the tire's new location
