holy balls!!! that is alot of consumption for even a big block.

you likely have no rings left. justin at the odana store can do the heads beautifully. the block would have to go to sauk though...ask pfaff how his is doing.

ya i also had a lot of moistuure in the system too. i only drive less than a mile each way because im too lazy to get my fat a$$ up in the morning to walk or ride my bike like i will be doing here once i get the front tube fixed.

normally i burn maybe 1-2 qts every 3k. this winter has seemed like more to a lot more oil consumption......

ya i know i can get everything done at work its just how much time do i have to do it too is the other issue. ive got to run to deere in sauk tmw anyway ill stop and talk to brad on the labor....

im still waiting on my torque plate to come in. it was supposed to be here wed or thurs... labor depends on what all has to be done. i have an extra 2.0 block here you can have for cheap, as well as a 2.5L crank, rods and pistons. have the crank ground, toss the STI rods in new ACL race bearings, and some new pistons and you should have a 2.3L i think? i can tear it all apart and bring it all into Brad if youd like. give me a call/txt 608-408-0342

I have the Turbo off my 2003 that was pulled with 20k miles. Also have other Turbo parts that where pulled at the same time I would sell. Kyle can vouch that even at this time my car only has 60k so parts are low miles. Parts are in Middleton. Shoot me a PM if interested.

Regarding my thread about the dyno day and 6th annual meet......If you are wondering where they went and why you won't see any more info regarding either of them here:

"Never mind. I'm so tired of the moderator bull**** here don't bother answering the question unless you go to FB. I won't be back. When I can't even post an announcement for an event that doesn't get me a dime, then they rip it off the forum without explanation or really even reading what it is, they can lick my sack. Nuff said? By the way....DYNO DAY IN MADISON ON APRIL 7th YOU RIDICULOUS JERKS!!!!! FOR SOME REASON FACEBOOK DOESN'T GIVE A ****!!!! I'LL POST THERE UNTIL NASIOC HAS GONE TO HELL."

I figured I'd hold back a little. Wish I could tell them what I really think. See y'all on the other forums...just not here.

it truly is bull**** that they take issue and expect money from a volunteer event. they have plenty of advertising. get your priorities straight.

ok so turbo replaced today. noticed normal driving back up here from my parents house my oil pressure was at 60 psi when at the same driving conditions before it was 80 psi and 100 on a cold start before it warmed up. havent noticed the amount of smoke from burning oil (its a bit dark out there at night, whoda thunk right?) but did notce at 2 lights there was a huge puff of smoke out the back. checked it when i got home and oil is on full and it was al little wet around the oil feed into the turbo, is there supposed to be crush washers in there by chance? because there wasnt any when i took the old one off....

well car started some surgery today. compression tested and leak downed. ‎1-125 2-25 3-100 4-110 compression. all cylinders held 40-50 psi on leak down and #2 blew it right out the oil cap.

what do you think throw some rings at it and go from there? new shortblock from subaru?
