Welcome! Where in Colorado did you move from? I moved out here from Parker, CO about 10 months ago. I don't think there are any stations near you, but here's a link to all of the stations. E85 is not nearly available here as it was in CO.

yeah sadly I have seen some people that were in the porsche programs and volvo programs and now work for firestone and jiffy lube. From what I have seen UTI doesn't really get you were you need to be. It's all on you....

Good luck!

im moving tommorow evening...u starting on oct 5th? i will be near pheonix, if your close we could meet up.

and as for the msat programs unless its diesel related dont get ur hopes up. i did the basic and fact at the rancho cucamonga campus in california and most of the programs actually stopped due to the economy takin a dump. mercedes pulled out of uti all together, bmw moved off campus to their own training facility, audi is "suspended temporarily". VW is the only msat that i know of that IS NOT an elective that is still running in full swing. and if your looking for a program to take...FACT dude...you will get more out of fact in the 5 phases then you would in the entire basic setlist.

Don't worry about AZ! I'm in Surprise too - when you get here, take your car to the emissions inspection place thats roughly at Bell/Grand. They will only hook your car up to the computer b/c they can't do AWD cars. In general, as long as you don't have a check engine light you will pass.

Once done, take your car across the street (bell/dysart) and go to the MVD inspection lane first. They will check a few things and submit an electronic doc. to the MVD. Then you just walk inside and get your plates.

W/ my old WRX and my just registered Outback, it prolly took no longer than 2 hrs for each car.

Good luck and where in Surprise are you going to?

Right on for your location, you will be rather close to a few of us. myself, Trav, and dirty to name a few - but there are lots more.
My ol wrx was stock but there are lots of people on here that run cat-less and well.... have much much more done to their cars. I am sure they back me up on this;
You will be fine.

^^Look Here^^

The West Side used to meet @ Bar Louie - but that has since been closed down.

There are many other places we could meet at, but turnout has fizzled out for lots factors.

I would love to see this get started again. However, I think we need to try a few diff. days/week and find out which one ends up with a higher turn out.

Previously it was held on Thursday nights. Now that I am rocking the daddy-daycare gig, that won't work for me. But if we could get a meet on some Friday Nights? I can make a few of them/month!

I enjoyed our meets at Saddle Ranch (across from Bar Louie). Anyone up for going back there?

Saddle ranch is good for me. Its like 5 mins from my place. Im actually goin up to west gate tonight with some friends. And I prefer weekend nights my self because i'm taking night classes. Try next friday?

Also, if anyone is interested, i'd like to go find some roads to practice on tomorrow, but dont know where to go. I'd like to go with someone that knows the place and can help me learn a couple techniques.
