2007 Forester FXT

Default 2.2 litre Wagon

Can you do anything to this engine?(EJ22) someone please fill me in because i need some knowledge besides the basic bolt-ons. Do they make turbo's, superchargers, etc.? or should i just save up for an EJ20?

Default Check with GTBGUY

He's got a 2.2L Legacy and has added, I believe some headers, and at least a cat-back system to his. He's running the Brullen cat-back group-buy right now over in the Legacy forum.

I've emailed him with questions and he's popped right back with answers that have been very helpful.

What's your time-frame and what is your end state goals?

Kevin Thomas has an OBS I think it is also a97 like yours and he was runninga turbo nitrous system. IIRC he was running 13 flat. I think he had tranny trounles though?

do a search on the board... there is TONS of info already hanging around about 2.2 performance options. Best of luck to ya.

With the exception of headers and turbo kits, almost everything for the 2.5 liter will work on the 2.2 liter engine, trust me, I've done way too much to my car.
