Default HKS turbo kit for RS?

I already did a search, and didn't find anything about this on the I-club. Has anyone heard anything about this kit? I also checked hksusa.com but there was no info...

Hasn't that car been around for a while now? I thought I read something about this car a while back in Sport Compact or something, I don't know.

Either way, it will probably be a pretty nice kit, I just haven't heard crap about it, so I'm a little skeptical of the validity of this.

did it mention lower comp pistons? because that might change the tranny issue dramatically from what they are now in our cars :P

I was just talking with a honda buddy of mine the other day. I remember the first anyone on this board heard of it was when it appeared in SCC magazine. Numbers and HP rating and costs flew around about it, but I never heard of any other car with it, other than HKS

Yea....Whatever happened to that thing?

2000 2.5rs

I have the article on the, "hks impreza 2.5rs turbo. it was a t-25 turbo, air to air intercooler, auxiliary throttle body injecters and controller, cat-back exhaust, lightweight flywheel, exedy clutch, auxiliary waste gate, intake system, and racing plugs.) (all parts made by hks otherwise mentioned) it had [email protected] "hks says it has put the car in slam footed journalistis for more then a year with few problems, but on our third test day at williow springs, it idled but wouldnt move under its own power. hks's explaination for this was that the mass-air sensor spontaneously committed hara-kiri during the cold night; a problem it says is unrelated to its modifications and not uncommon on virginal subarus. whatever, it ruined our day.) I got this out of a car and drivermagazine

Default You should....

You should contact HKS and get back to us with what they have to say about it all. They probably just chucked the project on the back-burner with the WRX in the forefront now.
