Lol one of those is broken. It failed so epically that I just had to keep it. One of our customers from when I worked at Subaru didn't change their oil. The turbo took offense to that. You can imagine the rest.

Well after some thinking I decided on another mod. The yahoo in the driver's seat:

Once spring hits I'm off to Team O'Neil to get sharpened up. Should be good! More info on that as it develops.

I'm proud to announce a sponsorship from Moore Performance & Race Parts! Very excited about the opportunity to run a custom exhaust tailored to exactly the specs I want and need.

Moore Performance & Race Parts

I'll post more info on the exhaust being made for me once everything is finalized.

A little more info on the exhaust.

I have a few options on what I could do but I'm going with this setup for now:

3 inch exhaust with just simple 3 inch tip

The EWG downpipe will also be fabbed up with this batch

This is a great exhaust sponsorship becuase it allows me to modify things as needed. The exhaust is very easy to work on and VERY modular. I can add resonators/cats in as necessary if noise requirements dictate so.

Looks like a great project. That doner car looked in good shape, was the passenger side hamburger?

Not too bad.

It rolled into a tree on my property at what I guess to be around 15-20mph while idling. I had run inside to get something and didn't check to make sure the e-brake was holding properly. It could have been easily fixed... but where's the fun in that? I had a set of Prodrive/Hella headlights off a UK300 that I was just about to put on too. Good thing I didn't.

Edit: Yes, the prodrive headlights are already sold. (already gotten a couple PMs lol)

I'm very happy to welcome on Engaged Performance as a sponsor! Their PnP and coating services are quality and I'm happy to have them on-board

Among other things the entire exhaust system (header to exhaust tip) will receive a full thermal coating. Stay tuned for more.

Just an update. Work continues on the GC (slowly). Now that the holidays are over things should resume and I should be getting some new progress pics up over the course of the next few weeks.

Slight change in the plan. Looks like I'll be running Ver 5/6 Type RA cams instead of the Crowers. This is mainly a money-saving decision. I'm getting the RA cams for next to nothing and it will still be able to give me a high revving motor.

It's tough to see in those pics but the original seat mounting points have also been removed. You can see them laying on the ground in the 3rd pic. New (better) ones are getting welded in.

Very minor update. Trimming the last of the fat off the interior. Preventing any places for water or any debris to hide behind/under. This might seem like overkill to some but the attention to detail aspect of this build is important to me. Everything in the pics is coming off.

Rear seat reinforcements

Console bracket (plus you can see the newly welded floor plugs) Fabbing our own bracket to mount the CF dash

Floorpan and wheel well plates

Again, nothing exciting. Just the last of the stripping before Andrew starts bending metal and it starts to look more like a rally car!
