Hello everyone, I am from MAss and I purchased a STI intake manifold off of a member in this region, Kevon Jamal Maxwell, 7331 Us Open Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32277). I went through the whole paypal claim process and it was decided in my favor. They went to issue a refund and he had insificiant funds so a refund could not be issued....

does anyone know KEVON MAXWELL??

I believe that you can file charges and that it needs to be done via the local municipality.

I don't pull punches if I feel I'm being ripped off. The guy may be dead, he may be in the hospital, whatever...the fact is he hasn't returned your messages and you should file charges.

I wouldnt do any business with anyone named Kevon Jamal. Wire fraud is the charge. Call the cops. I bet he has a record.

The crime of wire fraud is codified at 18 U.S.C. § 1343, and reads as follows:

Whoever, having devised or intending to devise any scheme or artifice to defraud, or for obtaining money or property by means of false or fraudulent pretenses, representations, or promises, transmits or causes to be transmitted by means of wire, radio, or television communication in interstate or foreign commerce, any writings, signs, signals, pictures, or sounds for the purpose of executing such scheme or artifice, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both. If the violation affects a financial institution, such person shall be fined not more than $1,000,000 or imprisoned not more than 30 years, or both.

I'm pretty sure wire fraud applies on your case...so I would file charges with the local police department.

Wow. Thanks a ton everyone. I appreciate the help and input. I know the amount was only $150 but in times like this every dollar counts and I hate the fact that someone took my money and ran. This is thw 3rs time i have been screwed out of money off NASIOC simce this summer. Lwsson learnes... buy local. I understand stuff happens but in the end I still have no $ and no intake. I am going to try to pursue it. I tried looking up his number as cannot find it anywhere. The paypal name was under RASHEEN MAXWELL. This name and address comes up as has Kevin as a sibling, but still no number is provided. Anyone local have a good ol phonebook?

Anyone know what department in the PD would be most helpful to contact?

I would have never thought that someone with this much history would take the time to scam people on a forum... i guess the dirtbags are everywhere where there is money to be had. I think I will see if I can call the local PD down there in Jacksonville and at lease add to his worthlessness. I will see where that gets me and maybe I will call that shop as a last ditch effort.

I am Kevon and I apologize for the extreme delay I am in the military like I said and left my wife the info to send the package . I just returned back state side this week . The manifold will be sent today . I am very sorry for this incovience .

called twice again today and left two messages. The phone is ringing and not going straight to voicemail so I know its on. I guess the next step is to call the local PD and see what they have to say about it.
