Default Need Help on Suspension Setup in 09' OBS

I have heard all different things to do with the suspension and im looking at changing it up a a little bit(from stock). My question is what to get and where to get it from? I definitely want to lower it, and add some sway bars (maybe). Just curious to what everybody thinks and am lookin for some advice.

Start with adding a rear sway bar. You don't have one. Just an OEM rear bar from a 09+ (09 is bigger than 08) with maybe some aftermarket endlinks will make a BIG difference. You can find them pretty cheap in the classifieds on NASIOC or on 3GWRX.com. Remember that any rear bar for the 08+ WRX will fit your car, but the front bars are different and the WRX bars will not fit the 2.5i or OBS without some exhaust modifications.

After that, change the struts. You can also pick up some 09+ (again, 09 is better than 08) OEM WRX struts. If price is an issue, you can go with used struts. They aren't too hard to find either, some with just a couple thousand miles on them.

The "weak" point of the stock 2.5i & OBS suspension (which is the same, BTW) is the lack of rear sway bar. The weak point with upgrading the suspension or lowering the car, is the struts. They can't really take stiffer springs and many end up blowing with the STI pinks and other stiffer springs. Upgrade the struts and add a rear sway first, then you'll have a great platform to move forward wit
