hey just wondering if anyone can post a pic of where to jack a subie at,i know theres a link to scoony mods but i really dont want to have to register just to see two pics. i need to know where i can puts 4 jack stands to do a clutch change.

When you look under the car, you can't miss the jack points. Their in about a 1 foot radius of each of the tires, and look like metal plates a tad bigger than the average jack-lift face.
Just make sure it doesn't turn out like this:

When lifting the rear of the vehicle by the rear differential housing, use a block of wood. Cut a piece of wood to fit inside the cup of the floor-jack so as not to damage the differential housing.

Even if you should have the Subaru rear differential protector plate in place, still use a piece of wood between it and the floor-jack.

It's cast iron. Just don't jack it up on the aluminum cover in the back and you're fine.
