OK buy Nates beans

Default AP v1 and only v1-- netbook to use?

I need to buy a new laptop/netbook to use with my

AP v1 and Street Tuner software

I realize that a netbook will have no optical drive, but there must be a way to make that work without an optical drive and a netbook would be more practical I think....

I just need to know if anyone has done it and what does it take to make it all work for tuning/logging???

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it

Im not sure if you need the disk or not when you have that software running. If you dont you can just pull the files off the disk onto a usb key or a desktop file. If it does, you can get a disk imaging program such as alcohol 120%, make an image file off the disk, then transfer the file onto a netbook with the alcohol installed

you only have to install the program from the disc which you can transfer with a thumb drive. The street tuner works with the hasp key. so install plug it in good to go. Asus or eepc with windows xp is all you need.
