Default Stop Tech front stainless lines on 08+ WRX

Has anyone tried this combo? I ordered these from a vendor, they spec'd part# 950.47001 which is same as the 02-05 WRX. All good so far there.

I hit a problem though, they hook up to the caliper, strut bracket, and hard line just fine, but the little tab on the chassis where the caliper line to hard line junction is held in with a clip isn't right.

StopTech includes a new clip as their line is a little different than the stock one so the stock clip wouldn't work. The stock caliper line passes through the tab on the top side, and the clip holds it on the other side. The problem is the StopTech line fitting on is too big to pass through the opening in the tab, therefore the clip cannot be fitted to hold the line.

Best I could find was a goodridge install on a 2002 WRX on Scoobymods: http://www.scoobymods.com/stainless-...31.html?t=2731. Looks like the Goodridge line goes right through and the clip is on the bottom, as it should be to capture the line and hold it. In my case the StopTech fitting is too big to fit through the hole.

I can only figure this is maybe an issue that StopTech didn't forsee, assuming the application was the same between 02-05 and 08+ WRX.

Further compounding this is that StopTech's application catalog on their website shows the correct part number for the 08+ WRX as 950.47006 not 950.47001. This is the same part as the 08+ STI, which does not seem right. The vendor claims that their StopTech catalog shows 950.47001 as the correct part.

Right now the vendor is asking for pictures of the issue. I hadn't taken pics as I thought it was simply the wrong part number, so now I have to go back and hook the line up to get pics to show them what I mean.

Just looking to see if anyone else had tried to install these.
