Default I think this may be helpful

i went through the archives for this board last night trying to find info on turbocharging a 2.5rs, and while I was able to find everything I needed eventually, it took a couple hours of reading pointless threads that really went nowhere. I will now post a question, and it is asked because It would be good to have this info in ONE thread rather than it being spread across like, 15 million of them.

What all would one need to do to turbocharge a 2.5rs. I know that you can buy a turbo kit from vishnu or ludespeed, but what would you need to do to make it reliable? I'm talking modest amounts of boost (5-7 psi) and modest amounts of hp. nothing crazy. I'm not going for like, a 400hp mega car. I would be satisfied with like, 210-220 at the flywheel. And about how much would it cost.

I am aware that the question has been answered before, but it is nice to have all the info in one post near the top of the forum. thanx for any help.

How about the link titled "Things to figure out before picking parts for your turbo project" inside the stickied thread entitled "FAQ and Threads of Note" at the top of this very forum ?
