I'm on CORN YO!

Default So, I was just minding my own business....

came across this on KSL and after CnC the fam. drove down to Provo and picked it up for Randi.

I can't leave good, well enough alone so....

95% done,

Engine bay trunk are still stock blue

1.6l 40k on new motor
Brand new paint, shaved brake light, mirrors, and antana
New soft top
Adjustable AGX struts and springs
17x7 wheels
New seats

Randi says I can do what ever I want with it when she isn't driving it. I will probably PC everything I can this winter in the engine bay pink. (Randi says only pink on the inside)

I am thinking I can throw a stock td04 turbo and exhaust on it for 150 whp pretty easy on E85 LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

walbro fuel pump
600cc deatsch werks injetors
Ebay FMIC
make my own short ram from some subaru intake and MAF
running a MBC and external wg all I need to manage spark, timing, and fuel.

AEM here I come!

With lances handy skillz I can pimp this ride this coming winter and put down some awesome numbers, Who knows maybe my VF39 will find a good home on it

It's pretty fun little car, no ac or ps. I need all the horses I can get!

It's actually not that bad to drive with out power steering being so small I doubt it really make that much of a difference.

just turbo and clean engine bay up basic plan:

td04 vf39 turbo
custom up pipe and tbe
custom short ram
custom FMIC
600cc injectors
fuel pump
AEM timing, fuel unit
manual boost controler
38mm ewg

ceramic and wrap exhaust manifold
ceramic coat and heat wrap tbe
turbo blanket
94 miata limited slip rear diff.

PC valve cover pink
pc intake pink
pc tmic piping maybe pink or if it's over kill black.

clean up wires, moving fues box into fender and some of the solenoids
paint engine bay and trunk black

I am thinking I have about 3 good months over the winter to get it done.
I just have to figure out what I can and can't get done in that amount of time. Randi says she doesn't care what I do as long as it's drivable for her in the summer.

I think 50 whp isn't a long shot really. They claim you can run up to 14psi on the stock block which suprises me for a NA car. That should really make it fun to drive.

it will get more than 41 mpg with an ls1 in it. think of the power to weight ratio!!!!

That's what I was reading online. 14psi is nothing for these little motors. Maybe I will shoot for 300 whp on E wouldn't that be fun

Neat! Throw some turnbuckles on that thing and get rid of the altezzas.

I like well-done Miatas.

The tail lights are on the list, but pretty far down it right now. If I run across something I like I will buy them. Maybe some stocks, I haven't seen too many after markets I like yet.
