Default k&n CAI

Has anyone purchased and installed the K&N Typhoon CAI? If so what do you think. How does it compare to other CAI's on the market? Should I get my exhaust done at the same time or will the CAI by itself be ok? Thanks.

if you have money to do both at same time go for it but if you dont i would get the exhaust first. CAI i know makes i big diffrince when your runnin a honda with no exhaust but im not sure about the WRX i think exhaust will help you more for the subaru.

If was you, you can get a drop in panel filter, and do the airbox mod
like the K&N, Blitz, or UNI for 30 bucks
then an Upipe for 199.00
you will feel the difference with an upipe.

the Typhoon intake is supposed to be nice
www.performancecenter.com for $141.79.
Not sure

Here a link to the thread posted by the guinea pig for K&N Check it..
You'll notice i posted at the end that I decided to purchase this kit. I'm just waiting for my auto parts store to get back at me tommorow to tell me if they can get there hands on one from K&N. If they can't i guess I'll just order one online, but i'd rather just pick it up locally. I'll post my review once i get it installed. I plan on using it as a short ram intake not a CAI. However whats great about it is that you have a choice!
