Default 2002/03 Radiator

Well, I have sprung a leak. It is currently patched up as I limp to work and back, but I am waiting for the day it decides to go on me. To put it simply, I am in need of radiator. Low miles is good, must have zero leaks!

Show me what you have!

You will want the 2 cap system. Subaru themselves will no longer install the radiator with no cap on top. It is considered a fix for the issue of those radiators springing leaks. There is not much involved in changing styles.

i just did the swap last week on my 02. all i did was drill another hole in the top of my overflow and run the top overflow down to the bottom with another hose, problem solved.

^So you're saying it's easy? What other stuff will I need aside from the radiator itself to do the 2 cap swap?

You don't need to drill. You can just use a T and a short piece of hose to connect the overflow on the new cap to the existing lines. I had to bend the hard pipe a little to get it to clear the new cap. location.

It is super easy and waaaaaaaaaaay more reliable.

Thanks for the advice/quick responses. I have found a couple for sale, and will hopefully have something in the mail in the near future. If anyone else has anything locally, please let me know.
