Exclamation 07 2.5i ECU Maps

Hi Everyone.
I got 2007 Subaru Impreza 2.5i with such mods
Borla Headers
Stromung Hi-FLow cat
Stromung MIdpipe
Stromung Muffler
Wapon R Intake

My friend has Tatrix cable for his STI.
I was wondering if I could tune my car with Tatrix cable and what would I need to do that.
If anyone has done it yet, let me know.

Ya you could, Romraider/OpenECU is what you'd need. That's how my car was tuned (with all those mods except I had a 42Autosports intake and some other stuff) actually so it'll work fine, just make sure you know what you're doing. If you don't leave it to someone who does

Search around on the Romraider site before you do ANYTHING. The learning curve is quite steep so read up on all the fourms before you go at it. I HIGHLY recommend that you save your current map on a flash drive and store it somewhere safe. If you mess anything up, you will have that to fall back on. Remember that when you are reading/writing to your ECU it is extremely important to NOT TOUCH ANYTHING (computer keys, cables, etc) while this process is happening. If you accidently pull out the USB you could potentialy brick your ECU and your car is now a paperweight. Likewise goes if there is an error durring the read/write process. In this case just run the process over...DONT pull the cable out. You will mostly be working with the MAF scaling feature and possibly the injector scaling. There is a little that can be done with timing and fueling but don't go nuts. The easiest thing you can do right off the bat is to set your open loop/closed loop delay to zero. This will give your car a little more response going to WOT.
