Default Looking to my neighbors

I don't really know anyone out here and will be looking to you guys for some help/answers here shortly. Due to my work schedule and traveling all the time I rarely have the chance to meet anyone, so I don't have many friends. Hopefully you guys will be willing to help with my questions.

I am taking on a new project in the next week. I will be working on a '93 Sentra with the 1.6 motor. Long story short, my girlfriends brother and girlfriend are moving out here from CA so they can better their situation. They don't have much money, and we are trying to help them with what we can since a little one is on the way.

I am going to be taking on repairing the exhaust, cat, EGR issues, struts, brakes, basically getting the car to be quiet and reliable until he can afford a better vehicle.

Does anyone have any extra parts that I can purchase or pointers for getting this car legit for emissions. As far as I know, the car isn't throwing any CELs so thats a plus but I don't need it to be "diluted" when we go to do inspections.

Do you guys have any advice? Good jukyards for nissans? I'm not a re-tard when it comes to working on cars, I enjoy getting my hands dirty and fixing things. I work on million dollar gas turbines so using my hands is nothing new. Thanks again for any help you guys have.

if it a 93 its gonna be a sniffer and a visual. so basically if the cat is working properly it will pass. and if it doesnt, fill it up with e85 and test it again
