Default Need help on metal heater 't' pipe replacement

MY '02 WRX has a pin hole leak in the metal 'T' pipe that connects to the lower heater core hose at the rear of the pipe. The hole is in the smaller diameter 'T' pipe immediately next to where it bolts to the engine, and connects to a hose running up to the top of the throttle body. I can't tell where the front of the main pipe goes, I'm afraid up to the water pump.

Does anyone know where the front of this pipe connects to a mating hose, and what all needs to come apart to access it to replace the pipe?

Does anyone have one of these pipes available in their spare engine parts, or know how best to describe it to the Subaru parts dept?
