time to get some solid metal back in the rear end

pic with the daily

stripping out all the old sound deadening and finding the cancer underneath

Great work man and nice find! I would have one of these for a project myself if I didn't have so much money wrapped up in my forester 😐

I have been sitting on my brat for 10 years, havent made much progress on it in the last few years, though. i am hoping to get mine running again soon, though. im either going to put an ea82 from an XT into it with the 5 spd from my old RX or i am going ot get a wrecked wrx and go that route. still up in the air at this point due to funds and time.

nice, I am very determined to get a full wrx drivetrain in this one lol

I've had this one for less then a year and I've already made some decent progress on rust repair.. as you can see lol

the custom work for wrx drivetrain is going to be what takes some time..

i totally hear you on the funds and time part lol I got lucky finding my wrecked wrx, I only paid 1800 and I've probably came close to breaking even after selling some parts off of it

i hope to it running and driving by maybe next summer that's a little a little on the optimistic side hahaha

post some pics up of yours if you have any!
