Default shift knob pattern changable?

2011 WRX. Factory shift knob, which I don't plan to replace. Is the shift pattern icon on the knob something set in there, or is it something I can pop off and put a custom one in? Additionally, any leads on people who do custom logos for it? Thanks!

a new shift knob would make more sense for what your looking to do.

Agreed. If your goal is to maintain the OEM look, buy a spare OEM one and experiment with modifying it. I've seen some people mod their OEM badges, but most people looking for a shift knob mod end up buying a full replacement.
