Exclamation Issue Related to Head Gasket? Take A Look...

So, there's a possibility that I may have to break down and rebuild my V7 EJ207. Here's some history.

Earlier this week on Thursday, I pulled into a gas station after work to check some lottery tickets. When I got out of the car, the temperature gauge was slightly over the half way mark (needle was right below the thermometer icon) where it usually is. I come back out about five minutes later and the temperature gauge was almost at the three quarters mark. So I shut her down and wait a few minutes, open up the radiator cap on the reservoir, and it's almost empty. I fill it up about half way, start her up, squeeze the upper radiator hose while slowly filling the rest of the reservoir. For the remainder of the drive home, the temperature was normal. Over the next two days, I check the reservoir before I leave for work and before I head home, it was about half empty, top it off each time, but the car was not overheating. On Sunday and Monday, everything was normal, coolant level in the reservoir was fine, no fluid missing.

Today I change my oil. Oil looks fine, dark, definitely not "milky". Open up the coolant reservoir while the car is warming up, it's about half empty and the worst part, bubbles . So I do a compression test on the driver's side cylinder bank (#4 and #2) and I get 135-137 on each cylinder . I'll finish the passenger side bank (#1 and #3) tomorrow morning.

Overall, the car runs fine. No loss of power, very smooth through 8K, and a very stable idle. The V7 was bought about two years ago with approximately 5K kilometers on the engine. Since this is my daily driver, I do not beat on it, but once in a while I'll open her up on the highway.

I would like to get some opinions before I pull the engine and get it rebuilt.

Here are all my modifications. Thanks for your time.
