-New 20G TD06 Turbo
-New Forged Pistons (stock was not forged)
-Closed Deck Block (stock was not closed deck)
-New Race Bearings
-All New Seals and Headgasket
-New Valve Job
-Resurfaced Heads
-New Coil Pack
-New Water Pump
-New Timing Belt
-New Oil Cooler
-HKS SSQV BOV
-ARC Intake (also directly from Japan)

I bought this car from an army mechanic, and the STI engine was already in place with less than 50k miles, but due to the age of the motor, I decided to rebuild the engine and upgrade it, as you can see from the list above everything is brand new. The work are done professionally by Apollo Performance, I have all the receipts from Apollo. Parts were bought Outfront Motorsport. Both shop are well known in the Subaru community, so the quality of the work and parts are definitely guaranteed. Ever since the built was done I’ve driven the car less than 20 miles! It was never tracked or abused at all! This is the second Impreza I've built, and this motor is new and fast.

Exterior/Interior:
-JDM STI Hood
-JDM STI Front Bumper

Not many mods on interior and exterior, the interior is clean especially for a 95 car and the exterior as you can see needs work. My original plan was to paint this car pearl black and put on my BBS wheels but since I'm moving away very soon I need to sell it to someone who will finish it and put it into good use.

With all the brand new parts and build this car is very fast, also the lightness of the GF8 chassis gave the car even more advantage. The exhaust is a catless 3 inch exhaust which sounds aggressive and amazing. I will be very clear of couple of things that this car needs, these are the things that I have on the list and have not been finished.
-Paint job
-Tune (this is important because of the rebuilt and upgrade it is important for you tune it first before driving it, it is currently running rich but can be easily tuned, since I already have a plug and play ecu, but I do not recommend you tune it by yourself)
-Dash Wiring (the dash is in place but many of the functions are not wired up, the signals and lights all work perfectly fine)
-This car is CLEAN TITLE but since the previous owner did not register it on time so the tag expired last year, but the fee you have to pay is 80% more of the annual registration fee which is $23 dollars, really cheap.

Again, the engine is BRAND New, it is definitely a sleeper and track monster, the parts alone are worth more than 5-6k, I'm asking for $10,000 OBO, since I'm selling it I will throw in the BBS wheels for free, they definitely look sick on this car. If you are really interested and have cash in hand, we can negotiate the price. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions, Thank you.
FYI to anyone interested in the car:
It is NOT registerable or street legal in the state of California. Questions about what the OP mentions in the ad registration-wise were dodged on other forums, and he blatantly lies about why the registration expired in this ad.

I only post this so no one buys a car that they think can be made street legal in California, nothing personal OP. Happy shopping NASIOC members!

EDIT: Actually, as a MOD pointed out on another site, you can do it if you get a crooked smog tech, so there ya go.

hey dude i already told you on rs25 and now u bring this here, do you own a subaru? i dont know but ask the owners on nasioc, who doesnt have mods? exhaust is illegal, but i think majority have exhausts? so if the car has been modded it is not street legal? no offense but that sounds really stupid man, and I will say this to potential buyer, you can register this car I GURANTEE YOU, this is the second impreza I've built so I know exactly what im talking about here, and for your information the previous owner was oversea in Iraq so he could not make it back on time to register it.

If the car really is street legal with the swapped engine, can we all see the CARB sticker from the referee...

ffs... give this guy a break.
The car is registrable, all you need is a smog.
The car is not out of state so it will not require a state ref inspection.

So just get it smogged, take that to the DMV pay the fees and boom you get yourself a nice clean pinslip in the mail.

Best of luck with sell, and dont let the haters get to you....

^^ You are wrong on SO many levels. On other forums, members and MODs have already pointed out just how non-street legal and non-registerable this car is and you are doing a disservice to potential buyers by falsely speaking on a subject you know nothing of.

Any vehicle in CA which has an engine swap MUST be taken to a C.A.R.B. station and inspected by a ref before it can attempt to pass smog or be registered. Without this, any (non-crooked) smog station will give you an immediate fail, and thus, no plates, registration, or any of it.

The two main reasons this car cant pass a CARB inspection:

1.JDM engine-Flat out, undebateable, 100% not legal to swap into USDM vehicles in California. Right here it fails and is not smog-gable or registerable.
2.Catless piping- Will fail visual inspection and any actual smog check. Normally could simply be switched out for the test, but with swapped engines, the CARB inspector must see all the ORIGINAL exhaust equipment that came with the swapped engine.

I only post this so people will know before they buy. The OP can "play dumb" but it has been explained to him EXACTLY why his car is not street legal in CA and EXACTLY why his ad is dishonest, but he continues to act ignorant here and on other forums. He admits on his thread on RS25 that the only way to get it registered is illegally, and plays dumb here. Anybody in our community deserves the truth about a car they're interested in, and the OP is being dishonest. Thats it, thats all.

i think he is being pretty straight forward about this situation already, yes he is catless and yes he has a swap, but this car is registerable because many ppl with swaps did not have to go thru CARB, and they are all registered, whatever it is i think he made it very clear already, again trust worth guy he has been working on subies for yrs, knows what hes talking about.

The process I stated is 100% accurate. The only way to get it smogged and then registered is through a crooked smog tech. You admitted that on RS25, why not here? WHy are you trying to deceive buyers?

Also, don't call anyone else stupid until you form a decent grasp of the English language.

Illegally. That is the only way. How is every other member getting that and you can't? It is not debateable, nor is he even debating that. Mods and members on RS25.com pointed out to him that his car is not street legal and he agreed that his supposed "process" for the buyer getting it registered involves taking it to a crooked(read: needs to be bribed) smog tech.

I've said my peace, and members have been warned. The OP is selling a car that is not even close to street legal in CA, and has been lying about it.

Listen carefully:

The MOD's(Mikey) exact quote was:
"no the swapped motor can not be bar certified. there are illegal ways around that. i know 2 daily driven jdm swaps here in my hometown. if you want to pursue it more PM me. ill give you the details."

Then you said in the very next post:
"what Mikey said, thanks mods."

You just admitted the motor is illegal and there are only "illegal ways around that"!

Keep insulting people and backtracking, you're a liar and a scammer. We ask you HOW you can magically get it registered and have no answer other than to call people names and say "uhhh, i dunno I did it before, you're stupid!".

Heres the thread if anyone wants to see for themselves, its post #18 and #19:

plus the statements i made on rs25 was very clear too, i am depicting the situation of the car 100% accurate, once u find someone to pass smog, and then register, then done drive it on the street, so that is ur definition of me lying? and deceiving everyone? LOL

Stop Feeding The Troll.
I learned this the hard way.

I kept feeding him until he started posting VERY faulty and VERY Dangerous information about a car i was selling all over the internet. (which was 100% false)
He is the resident troll on this forum, not sure what his problem is.

Any way, anyone who has been in the Cali Car scene for more than 3 days.... knows the ways things are done around here.
So please.... cut the crap. We all know how things are done and resolved in california.

This car was built right and is worth every penny he is asking for it.
