Talking CA: 2002 E46 M3 Alpine White 6spd Manual $19500!!!

Hi everyone, up for sale/ trade is my E46 M3. It has an Alpine White exterior with gray interior and the entire car is in excellent condition. The car IS a traditional 6spd manual (not smg) which is pretty rare in SoCal. The car only has 85 k miles on it. All maintenance has been done, and I personally change the oil in it every 3k miles with full synthetic castrol 10w-60. The only mod ever done to the car is the K&N intake which added quite a bit of HP with the ITB's. I am asking for $19500, OR a trade for a 2006/2007 STI. If you are interested, let me know. Im willing to answer any questions or email any pictures upon request. Thanks for looking everyone!

Thanks for your interest guys, yea, I'm really only looking for an 06-07 sti. As far as problems, just your average little things and preventative maintenance things. For instance, I just replaced the thermostat 2 weeks ago just because I thought it would be a good idea. There wasn't anything wrong at all, I just thought it would be a good idea. I've taken very good care of this car, which it is why it's in the great shape that it is. But no, the car runs strong as can be. Did you have the M series bud? They get a heck of a lot more attention in the factory

Nice, 5 series are cool. Yea, if you drive the M3 right, it runs amazing. Buy I'm sure the fact that mine is traditional 6 speed manual helps the reliability too. SMG ftl...

Ya, they do still go for a lot, but is in an M3. Retail on my car is $56,000...Couldnt be as expensive as a supra though. Those things have crazy resell value....

just out of curiosity why do these cars go for so much over KBB. I am not trashing your thread, but just wondering since ive been looking into e46 m3's and have noticed that almost all of them are going for ~20k and KBB is 16100 in excellent condition.

bump, if you were on the east coast(and if i robbed a bank) i would pick it up in a heartbeat

FYI, people dont use KBB much anymore. My Credit union used NADA to get a value on my m and it was at 20k a few months ago. there are some deals out there and that is because those people are just trying to get rid of those cars but E36 M3s are still fetching for more then 12k.

Ya, vinnyd, I see what you are saying..BUT, in response to your post, its for the same reason that you see turbo supras with 150,000k miles still selling for 25k....Its consumer demand and the "rare" aspect. Finding a clean white M3 in Cali that is traditional Manual and not that smg crap is hard to find.

Oh, also, check out the NADA guides like dremersvision said. This car is traded in for 16,000 and not even for a white one. Suggested retail for an M3 like mine is $19,675. Thats for one that has smg and isnt white. Add in the "want" for white and a manual and that up's the price alone. People tend to like white so they can do the black roof and black rims and black side vents and whatever else they want to do to white cars but it ends up looking really good on an m3. If this doesnt sell soon, thats what I am going to do lol
