Default Damn Stealership!!

When our stealership replaced the alternator with the open recall on our '98 Legacy L wagon with EJ22, auto and cali. emisions with a REMANED ONE!!. They DID NOT REPLACE the belt, that is cheap as hell!! Since we have the cali. emisions the timing does not need to be done till 105k miles so of course the alternator and power steeing pump Fuji Heavy Equip./ Gates belt is teh onl;y one with cracked ribs!!!

Uhhhh..... was there supposed to be a coherent thought in that post for the rest of us to respond to? Or was that just a stream of conciousness rant that was not intended to be understood by anyone else?

Just wondering....

that just wooped your ass

Yeah, what Patrick said. The only part I really understood was the alt. belt not being replaced when the alt. was.

The belt wasn't recalled.

I'm going to take a wild leap here and presume you meant (somehow) that the dealership caused your somewhat used, consummable alternator belt to crack when they replaced your alternator? Otherwise, like the rest of your post readers, I have no clue how to interpret your comment(s).

Care to try that all again after "Stealership" in the subject line?

Br, Dale
