Default Another vote for Discount Tire Direct...

So I went to order a set of RE760s from Tirerack on Monday. Turns out, they're out of stock at the closest warehouse (DE). So, I was offered to pay about $25 more or so to have them shipped from an alternate site.

I then tried my hand at DTD. Bought the same tires for the same original price (shipped) as Tirerack, great.

Get a friendly personal email from DTD within a half hour after I purchased saying the tires are out of stock at their Ohio warehouse, however, they will be shipped from their Texas facility at no additional charge.

Did you talk to Luke, or someone else? I bet he would have taken care of you.

But yeah..pays to shop around sometimes. I've ordered from DTD a few times and the CS has always been great. If I order from Tirerack, I always talk to Luke.

I wonder if they changed their policy. I have ordered items from tire rack that originated in indiana, but only paid for shipping from DE without any customer service intervention required.
