Default Need help Trying to find the right clutch for the price.

I think I have looked at every brand out there and still dont know what to go with. I'm trying to stay under $450 for the clutch and around $200 for the flywheel. I have an 04 wrx with around 300whp I want a clutch that will at least handle 350whp.

There is one brand I'm not sure about but it is in my price range and that is (Competition Clutch). They sound good but I don't know anything about them.

Does anyone know anything about this company?

Or know where I can look for a clutch at?

The Oil patch, as
fun as it sounds

First, clutches hold torque not horsepower. Sorry, if I didn't say it, Unabomber probably would have.

I have read some reviews on competition clutches and they are hit or miss but only IMHO based on reviews and reading, never owned one. I have owned an Exedy OEM replacement (great, never had an issue with it but probably not enough clutch for you) and an ACT HDSS (what is currently in my car and designed to hold >500ftlb so more then you would ever need). The ACT is heavier (more pedal effort) than stock but not much and seems good but only have <1K on it. ACT has much more favorable reviews and is recommended by many people, vendors included. I would go with and ACT but your budget will need to be raised by about a $100. Now this is only my opinion and I would suggest calling a reputable vendor (Andrewtech) and talk with them. As for the flywheel, you can find light weight (assume what you are looking for) in the classifieds all day long for >$200 or if yours is fine reuse it or get resurfaced (many do this even if Subaru suggests against it).
