Default Will GD rotated kits fit GCs?

Hey guys,

so there's a possibility that I may do a complete build because I've had enough of tinkering around and have more headaches.

I'm looking into maybe a GT30R or similar sized kit for a 450whp build. I'm still working on the details as far as the engine goes (probably built G heads with 2.1-2.15 closed deck block). I'm not planning on making a drag car or anything, but I figured if I was to get a new engine, then it wouldn't make sense to run the stock 16G.

I'm looking into AMS and UR (i think there are other kits out there, so I'm still looking. Anyone running a rotated kit of some sort on the GC?

RHD? Most kits are not going to clear the brake master or clutch reservoir. Only real option is an APS RHD specific setup or custom. I went with a stock location ATP35R for my build (RHD GC8).

ah. Thanks for your input Ryan. What did you do about the 90 degree turbo inlet? Did you go rotated or?

I don't have the 90 inlet, I have a Ver 6 My 35R is stock location, 3" inlet snaked under the intake manifold.

it can work but it will take a lot of fabricating of stuff. i had bought the perrin rotated turbo kit and had to have a welder do it up to fit.

to save the hassle and money maybe it will be better to try and order a kit from england or australia.

You can.

You'd need the water crossover pipe from a newer wrx, it dips lower for clearance and rework the fuel lines or go to parallel fuel lines.

For even more room, you can use intake manifold spacers and a remote reservoir p/s pump.

newer wrx as it 02+ right?

Snaking the inlet might be cheaper than going rotated....
