Default 2015 Sti Levorg Front Bumper Swap

Yes its crazy....

Backgorund story to this Sti .... its my daily! I have plenty of motor mods in my 07 but this car only gets a catback exhaust. It needs to stay reliable. But at the same time I like to be different. I love to personalize things.

I have recently discovered a love for the Subaru Levorg Front Bumper. No its not sporty but it has class like a audi. My goal here is to swap my 2015 STi over to this bumper creating the STi business model...lol.

To each there own I really do not care if everyone here hates this.

Listed below are photos of the Levorg. One with the Sti right next to it and one with the front corner lips.

What I am going to break down in this write up is part numbers. Snags I run into. And if this front bumper even fits.

I have done some research and it all looks to mate right up.

So here are some pictures....

So far these are my findings:

Do not get hung up on cost. I am working out a package deal to save on shipping freight.

I had asked this question a few months back. I'm flying to Japan next week and heading to the dealership and get P/N's and cost. This way I can speak to JDM techs and maybe compare fitment to include wiring for the LED lights etc.

Pretty sure the Levorg front end will fit directly onto a USDM STi. Check Cusco's Youtube, I remember seeing them swap a Levorg and STi front.

I'm still kinda upset that North America will never see the Levorg any time soon.

Good luck with the swap my man...

Yeah I saw this video but what I don't know is if the turn signals are the same or not. I know the fog lights are.

Levorg is bad ass , the sti should of came with that front end since the WRX basically uses an STI front end

should be pretty straight forward, appears to bolt up fine in doing the reverse. I'm surprised that the fenders weren't an issue (like 02-07 wagons, which had body specific bumpers).

I am surprised in that video that the under paneling lines up. It looks like nothing needs to change.

You know as for the Leds I have a feeling I am going to have to replace the bulbs anyway so I am no worried about the wiring. Might just add a relay and have them turn on with the current DRL.

If you notice in all the photos they are very yellow.

What's the part number for the actual bumper? The 3 parts linked earlier are skirts, grill and fog liner.

I would wait until I receive mine and post pictures. I wouldn't want something to be wrong.

Also the STi top grill might fit. I will learn whether you need a grill or not when I get mine.

You will also notice I used D4S as the paint code. Subaru doesn't offer these parts in the STi blue so I have to paint them anyway.

If you want you can also get the front bumper already painted from them. But it has to be a color that overlaps the wrx and Levorg. D4S (black) is a overlapping color.... I think.

You will have to do the research on this part to be sure.

Sorry I do not have more info.
