Default 95-01 coupe questions

right now i have a 93 mustang 5.0 coupe. its a 13 sec car and gulps gas. im looking for a good DD and i decided i want to get a 95-01 impreza coupe awd 5 speed. i was wondering if there are any models or years of these cars to stay away from. im just wanting to put some nice wheels and suspension on it and get the best gas mileage i can out of it.

I don't know if anybody else is having any problems but on my '97 Impreza Brighton I don't have any besides the O2 sensor and the shifting his mushy. Other than that this car is great.

The earlier GC's had head gasket problems. Go for the motors with single cams instead of dual. Other than that they are equivalent. I get 26mpg in my RS.
