What tires are those? My 235s look more stretched than that on a 9" wheel! I'd like to get tires that run wide, or at least exact. These michilins run narrow.

I was looking at the general UHP1 and they are cheap and run wide. $320 shipped with hazard warranty, not bad for 225/45/17s!

Im kinda a noob about tires and wheels but i am thinking about going with the xxr 530 17x8.25 35+ and was wondering if they would fit my 225 55 17 tires i have currently on my car? Also would they stick out i prefer them to be flush or a little in? My car is a 2011 forester xt with sti suspension swap sitting about 3'' lower then stock and my stock wheels fit perfect i just want something more aggressive looking.

If you look at nlmotoring they have the 18x8.5 35 in black available right now. The rest won't be released till mid-late April. That's when first shipments go out.

Thanks I appreciate it. Yeah I'm trying to decide what I want too do. I don't want to go too low because I do drive off road sometimes and if I were to go low if probably need a bagged setup. I don't really want to fight with coilovers twice a year to have winter height and summer height. But a slight drop to get rid of some of that gap would be nicer too look at lol.

If you do any offroading, don't waste your money on bags. You will destroy them. Adjusting coils every 6 months is easy to do and is will be worth it.

I've really been thinking about getting the 17x8.25 +35 xxr 527's but then I saw your car and really loved the 18's. I am a fellow wagon owner, my rear fenders are rolled and I don't have coilovers as of now. What problems do you see me running into? I feel like I wont be able to get enough camber in the rear to fit them, and I feel like I'd have to pull the rear fenders.
I found your car on another forum where you posted all the specs, but thanks for the reply!

Yeah I guess I didn't think about that. If I went that way I'd have to resisted the urge to jump on a dirt road lol. What I didn't want to deal with was all the crud that gets stuck up in the coilover sleeves making adjusting a PITA. But they would be more reliable now that you have pointed that out. Thanks for the tip

yeah i rolled the fronts and rears. i didnt have to pull any fenders as of yet, i plan to camber the wheels a tad bit and lower it some more, with a slight frame notch up front. currently my car is parked for the school year but ill get it going soon. it rubs tire slightly in the rear, but as soon as i camber it a bit itll be fine and i could possibly drop it in the rear a tiny bit. im pretty satisfied with the rear, the front needs most of the work

Cool, thanks for all of the info. Very helpful to me while I figure out what I want to do. What coils are you on? And post pics when it's "done"!
(no car is every really "done")
