Depending on offset, you should be good to go.

So for future reference what would give me a flush look for when I eventually go lower? Would an 18x8.5 +35 get me to where I want to be?

For those that might want to go up in width with stock tires and wondering how much stretch it will have check out this site, it has pictures of all tire sizes on various rim widths

Yea, the +35 offset should work. That is the correct width, unless you want to modify fenders. Probably not going to be able to fit a very aggressive tire under there, still.

well after hours of searching finally found exact same setup i am going to run so glad you posted that

Trying to get some help on getting my 18x10 +25mm xxr521's to fit on my 2009 wrx sedan. What size tire should I run for less rubbing and what all work needs to be done?

Pull and roll on all 4 corners and a hell of a stretch

Probably a 225/40/18 but it also depends on how much you pull and roll your fenders.

No not yet their being delivered on Wednesday but I guess I'll try that when they get here. Reason I bought them is because I saw an 09 with them on but can't seem to find the forum thread again where I saw it. Now I'm being told it's going to be wayyyyyyy too much work to fit them.

Jesus. That's too wide for a narrowbody. I've seen 10" but they're bagged or have super modified fenders. 9-9.5 is normal and just needs a roll and -3* camber ish depending in tires, but 10 is gonna be tough.

I'm thinking if I go with a 225/40/18 tire and have some good fender work done I'll be able to fit. I know a lot of people hate the "stretched" look but I like it
