Sound from Engine Bay
Noticed a low cricket sound from the engine bay the other day. It is there during driving, BUT it magically disappears when I push in the clutch. Does the throwout bearing need to be replaced? I had thought a worn throw out bearing showed symptoms in a reverse situation (sound appears when pushing in clutch rather than releasing clutch), it's the only thing I can think of off the top of my heads.
Could it be the driveshaft? Just throwing it out there despite the fact that the sound is definitely in the engine bay. Thanks!

Take a look at the clutch slave cylinder... Imprezas are known for having sounds coming out from that piece....
