Default Bigger FSB for a NA GC

Well, I am looking for a bigger front sway bar than stock for a '98 2.2L GC8.

From what I remember, the '02+ wagon naturally aspirated bars up to '07 fit (don't remember how thick they are though... but bigger than what it has anyway I think).

Going to be doing the suspension soon and that needs to get done as well.
Let me know what you have, and how much you want for it.

Morgan

Best bang-for-the-buck is the $60 Tribeca stock front sway- you can order it from Subaru Genuine Parts. It's a 25mm front bar that bolts right up, and because of the way it attaches to the endlinks its effective diameter is 22-23mm. It's all I would do on a GC, it drastically improves turn in.

Shave/score the inside of your stock bushings to make it fit in the front sway clamps- I can share more details on how to do this if needed. The mod is well documented here and on RS25.

I checked on subarugenuineparts.com and could not find it (I may be blind/dumb today), but that sounds like the route I want to go... now to find one...

go to their OEM catalog. sort by 2006 or so, Tribeca. Its under 'front suspension', 'stabilizer bar & components', 'stabilizer bar'....bottom of that list, $56.66

or search for "STABILIZER F"

I can't link to that or i'd just give you the link.

I'll sell you my 07 STI front sway with end links and mounting brackets for $40 if ya want it. Dunno about fitment but IIRC 02-07 has the same mounting type front bar, wagon or sedan so if that will fit you're gold. PM if you're interested, would need to pay shipping or come get in PDX.
