Default Hyundai 800: A New Aspiration!!

More and more developments are fading away the fresh things faster. People tend to shift their focus on the newer things easily. For example, Audi is emerging in the whole world rapidly and has shifted many people’s focus from the BMW. The same thing is happening to the lower segment as well. Hyundai after having a good success in mid-segment hatch backs and sedans is trying to flip a coin into lower segment as well. The company is actually into the development of an 800cc car which will be positioned below the mega successful car, Santro. Rumors say that it will be priced around 2lacs to give competition both to the Alto as well as the Nano too. Hyundai 800cc is going to be a grand success as the market reputation of company has always been very stable. The company is well known for its after sales service. The engine developed by Hyundai are far better than their competitors. Hyundai Verna, i10, i20 and Santro are all the marvelous examples that leave no doubt about the company’s standing.

The car was firstly planned to be launched in the latter half of the year 2011, but is now delayed for next year. Probably, the model will be showcased in the Auto Indian Expo of 2012. Maruti 800 sales are already declined, so this might give a good chance for Hyundai 800 to change the old fate of Indian roads. The car is planned specifically for India but it will be exported to thea other countries too for further success.

Didn't you guys read the post?? It's about the Indian market... that's a pretty big clue about the author's country of origin, I'd guess.

Only in India could an 800cc vehicle be counted as something to aspire to.

Before anyone calls me a racist, let's just say I genetically can't be racist against Indians

I don't know what this article is talking about...I was in India last summer, and no one wants these small cars anymore. The car they speak of is now actually being phased out of production. There is a huge used car market for people who could usually only afford a motorcycle though. People that can afford new cars are "moving up" to corollas and civics. There are also a whole lot more euro luxury cars in India now. Surprisingly, there were Audis everywhere, mostly A6s and Q7s.
